PCD Milling Tools for Tungsten Carbide Molds

Tungsten carbide molds are difficult to machine because the material is hard, wear-resistant, and unforgiving when the process is unstable.

Direct answer

PCD milling tools may be reviewed for selected tungsten carbide mold finishing, profiling, or hard-brittle material applications, but they are not a universal replacement for EDM, grinding, or polishing.
