PCD Ball Nose Tools for Mirror Surface Machining

PCD ball nose tools can directly machine mirror-like surfaces, reducing or even eliminating manual polishing steps. They are suitable for high-precision mold machining and are capable of producing nano-level surface quality on hardened mold steel.

Our PCD Forming & Profiling Series features a comprehensive range of specialized models, including radius milling & grinding cutters, ball-end mills, and burnishing ball-end tools, specifically engineered for complex curved surfaces and high-precision profiling.

The burnishing ball-end tools are capable of achieving a direct mirror finish, effectively eliminating the need for manual polishing. When machining hardened mold steel (HRC >50), these tools consistently meet a 10μm surface profile tolerance. This series offers extensive specifications with cutting edge designs tailored to diverse profiling requirements. When combined with high-speed cutting (HSC) processes, they deliver exceptional performance in the manufacturing of earphone molds and precision optical components, significantly boosting both production efficiency and product yield rates.

Consistent with our ultra-precision standards, these tools leverage customized optimal facets and advanced welding technology to ensure structural stability. Every tool is verified as defect-free under 2000x magnification, ensuring the nanometer-level ultra-smooth mirror finish required for the most demanding high-end manufacturing applications.
